They Love Us

For our friends and family, here's a brief explanation of our process (and progress) in retiring to Florida.  Along the way we hope to answer some questions, and to provide some entertainment (for us it hasn't been an entertaining process, but I'm sure someday we'll look back on this and laugh... or at least smile).

(And for those of you who might want to follow, you might want to visit the Florida Retirement Forums and share experiences with fellow soon-to-be retirees)

This isn't going to be a blow-by-blow diary: that wouldn't amuse anyone but Annie and I (and perhaps not even us).  Heck, things happened during this which were interesting in sort of a "we'll tell that around the dinner table" sort of way, but for the purposes of this blog we'll stick with the Big Picture.

But Big Picture begs questions, so let's get those out of the way first...
